Although dan even though ialah conjunctions dan mempunyai makna yang serupa. Ke-2 kata itu dipakai untuk awalnya pada subordinate clause, dan ekspresikan tindakan di main clause seperti surprising, unusual, atau unexpected.

Contoh kalimat:

She drives one handcar…(main clause)

…even though she’s a multi-millionaire. (subordinate clause)

Contoh di atas, mengatakan jika a millionaire drives one hand car.

Kita dapat mengawali dengan subordinate clause tanpa mengganti arti:

Even though she’s a multi-millionaire, she drives one handcar.

Although dan though (tetapi bukan even though) bisa bermakna but atau however. Saat kita memakai though di dalam kerangka, harus ditaruh di akhir satu kalimat.
